again, because it was there...
I went thru great effort to find a pedestal that matched the era of
our house (circa 1924) and then went thru more effort to track
down the faucet to match...Newport Brass, baby! gorgeous -
and really, really a pain to put together!!!
each of those little sections is a separate piece...
the top, the little round knobie parts, all separate!
what a mission... but it's sooo pretty!

iPhone fun
W went back up to Brad & Krisann's so the kids could play together more and Jiao-Jiao was playing on the floor in the kitchen... the light in their kitchen is always gorgeous so I thought why not see how much fun it could be pushing the iPhone camera way past it's limits shooting into the light... feels sort of Holga-esque!

Bowling!
We went to visit Abby, Shawn, Krisann & Brad... and so we went bowling! Krisann got to play with the D3 so I finally got some more pics with my daughter! Jiao-Jiao weighs all of 31lbs so even the 6lbs ball was a bit much for her... thank goodness for bumper bowling!

International Jiao-Jiao...
This was a big morning... we took Jiao-Jiao to get her US Passport!
Now she has a 'red book' AND a 'blue book' like Mommie & Daddie!

Quiet Spaces...
So I was out on an appointment and new I was passing a spot I had been meaning to stop at and shoot some still images. Well, finding a place to park lead me to a place I did not know existed. parked the car and hung out for quite a while... it was a cold day but it was so peaceful there I didn't want to leave...

Room with a view...
So we were heading out for an appointment when I spotted this...
it's thru the car window so a bit fuzzy. I saw the 'RENT' plastered on this thing and couldn't help imagining what it would be like to convert something like that into living space!!! You could make a track around the outer edge and imagine the kick butt windows you could install!!! Just don't come home drunk or lugging a bunch of groceries... or a 4yr old... hmmmm an elevator install may be necessary!

We finally had a day at home to just take it easy a little bit.
Of course it was a good day to give the IG's much needed baths!

Getting out with friends...
We started off with dim-sum in China town with Tiffany & Eric...
Jiao-Jiao went for her congee like there was no tomorrow!
Then we had a little fun in a local shop trying on masks & hats...
Then it was off to Birdsboro for dinner with friends....
I have known Brad & Rob since 5th grade! Now when we get together
it's all about family. We certainly never thought we would be watching our kids play together one day.

I put out a little New Years treat for the squirrels...they wasted no time! It's a shame I had no time for filters because there was steam rising up from the roof of the garage.The rest of the morning was having lots o' fun with Jiao-Jiao's play-doh. When she giggles she really lights up!Later that night we all made cookies... these were the first chocolate chip cookies she ever baked!
